Privacy Policy

Connecting a mailbox gives ReachOut read access to that mailbox. That access is how the product detects replies to your outreach and the bounce notices your mail server sends back. Reading the inbox is not optional for a connected mailbox — without it, replies and bounces cannot be seen at all.

What is stored. Two kinds of incoming message: replies to email you sent from ReachOut — including bounce notices and out-of-office replies — and messages from people who are already contacts in your workspace, even when those are not replies to anything. Both are kept with the addresses, subjects and timestamps needed to file them against the right contact. Mail from anyone else is read only long enough to establish that it is unrelated, and is then discarded without being stored.

How long it is kept. For as long as your workspace exists. Nothing deletes stored correspondence on a timer — this is a record of your customer conversations, and losing it to an expiry clock would be a defect, not a privacy feature.

Mailbox content is never used to train AI models, and it is never used to teach the AI your writing style. Anything the AI knows about how you write, you typed yourself. Mailbox content is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared outside what is needed to run the product for you.

You can disconnect a mailbox at any time from Settings, and revoke ReachOut's access from your email provider's own security settings.
